• On the LakeSUMMER

It's no surprise that summer activities at Lake Tahoe revolve around the lake itself. With boats available for every kind of captain, get out on the water on a ski boat, jet-ski, paddle board, kayak or canoe. Relax at the beach, walk the shoreline, dive below the surface, or simply go for a dip in the cool, refreshing water. Where else can you find a sandy beach at 6,000 feet above sea level?

  • On the TrailSUMMER

If you prefer dry land, then head inland for a whole other list of adventures. 75% of the lake's watershed is National Forest land, rich with trails. Hike to the top of one of the many peaks in the area for incredible views, take a stroll along the Truckee River or hop on a bike and set out on the memorable 165-mile Tahoe Rim Trail that circumnavigates the lake.
